The Department of Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applicants for a full-time position as a Clinical Assistant Professor Anthropology beginning August 16, 2018. The ideal candidate will already hold a doctorate in Anthropology. The Department is interested in candidates with at least five years of experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates are expected to teach four courses a year and manage the laboratories in the introductory archaeology and biological anthropology classes. Candidates will be expected to teach several methods courses on a rotating basis aimed at advanced undergraduate and graduate students. Methodological expertise could include faunal, botanical, ceramic, or lithic analyses. Ability to teach statistics would be a plus.
