The Department of Anthropology at Brigham Young University is looking to fill a post-doctoral research position for a 2-3 year appointment. We are seeking an archaeologist who has completed his/her PhD. ABD candidates who will have the PhD by the start date may be considered.
We expect the candidate to teach at least one course a year from our department course offerings. There will also be opportunities for the candidate to conduct research and coauthor publications with our research faculty working in the Greater Southwest.

Applicants should have a broad background in the Greater Southwest with experience in fieldwork and artifact analysis. Preferred qualifications include the ability to speak and write in both English and Spanish, teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level, statistical competence, and experience writing technical reports.
