University at Buffalo, The State University of New York seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar for its interdisciplinary Institute for European and Mediterranean Archaeology (IEMA). During a 10-month tenure, the Postdoctoral Scholar organizes a symposium, teaches one graduate seminar (preferably on the topic of the symposium), and edits a subsequent volume reflecting IEMA’s focus on post-Pleistocene European and Mediterranean anthropological and classical archaeology.
Topics about Museums or Heritage are especially welcomed.

About Institute for European and Mediterranean Archaeology
The Institute for European and Mediterranean Archaeology, or IEMA, is a Signature Center of Excellence within the College of Arts and Sciences, University at Buffalo, State University of New York. It was created in 2006 by an interdisciplinary faculty, drawn from departments across the university.
IEMA with its departments of anthropology and classics is housed in the Ellicott Complex at UB North Campus.
