The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a NAGPRA (Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act) Liaison and Project Manager. This position will be primarily responsible for facilitating the daily implementation of NAGPRA (Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act) and curatorial projects in compliance with related regulations and additional ethical considerations that respect Tribal sovereignty. The NAGPRA Liaison and Project Manager will report to the Director of Community Indigenous Relations. The NAGPRA Liaison and Project Manager will have four broad areas of responsibility and assist in developing strong collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities.
