As a Masters-level Archaeological Field Director (Project Scientist) for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll manage Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III archaeological investigations across the Midwest; primarily in PA, WV, OH, IL, IN, MO, MI, IA, WI, KY, NC, SC, TX OK, CO, OR, MS, and LA. Projects are driven by compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. You will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from renewable energy development, major industrial sites, and very extensive linear projects. Your project work will include development of archaeological work plans, fieldwork, report preparation, as well as mitigation plans. Artifact analysis experience is a plus.
