Lecturer - Anthropological Archaeology The University of Tennessee - Knoxville
The Department of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking applications for a full-time lecturer position in Anthropological Archaeology to begin August 1, 2023. This is an academic year, non-tenure-track appointment with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance and funding.  The Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University.  Teaching load consists of four lower division courses in archaeology per semester. Teaching duties include the large “Introduction to Archaeology” course, “Archaeology of Indigenous North America”, and a course in collaborative/community/engaged archaeology.
