Michigan State University Department of Anthropology in the College of Social Science invites applications for a tenure-system position in archaeology at the assistant or associate professor level. The appointment will begin August 16, 2024. We seek an anthropological archaeologist specializing in Environmental Archaeology. While the geographic area of specialization is open, priority will be given to those candidates whose work is in the Midwest or Great Lakes region. Applicant’s research should enhance or compliment the second archaeological program
