The Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral position for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the option to extend for an additional year. We are in search of a recent Ph.D. graduate who has a strong background in the archaeology of the Americas. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate innovative, methodological expertise in areas such as spatial analysis (GIS), faunal analysis, paleoethnobotanical studies, or ceramics analysis. While a specialization in the archaeology and material culture of California is preferred, we welcome applicants with experience across any region or time period in the Americas.
